Our center is open 3 days a week – Our center is staffed with volunteers who will gladly assist you in your research.

2025 Microfilm Digitization Drive: The new board is wanting to digitize more newspapers, but we need your help!!! Each roll of microfilm cost $200.00 to digitize and we have over 400 rolls.
If you like seeing the online newspapers on our website, please help and donate through PayPal. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization, and your donations are tax-deductible. Thank you.
GIFTING WITH STOCK: The McDonough County Genealogical Society has an account with Seth Minter, Edward Jones in Macomb, IL to accept the gifting of stock. Please keep us in mind in your planning. We meet on the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Western Illinois Museum, unless stated otherwise. Everyone is welcome to join us and enjoy our wonderful speakers.
Please note there is no Society General Meeting in January 2025. Next meeting is in Feb 2025.
